48 hours after DJ Khaled proposed to Nicki Minaj on an MTV exclusive, Khaled pops the question once again
DJ Khaled had everyone buzzing about his recent proposal to YMCMB’s leading lady, Nicki Minaj. Khaled professed his love for Nicki on an MTV exclusive where he presented a 10 karat diamond ring with a $500,000 price tag.
The question on everyone’s mind was whether or not this unexpected announcement by Khaled was genuine or a ploy for publicity. In a recent interview with Power 106’s DJ Felli Fel, Khaled remained adament that his proposal was straight from the heart. “I just had to be honest. I always liked her. She’s my friend, of course. And I like her. It’s more than a crush,” Khaled explained.
Khaled’s respect and love for Nicki stems from her hard work ethic and beautiful presence, “I feel like I understand. I know she’s out there hustling and I respect that. I feel like I can take care of her and not just that, she’s beautiful.” While we all await a response from Nicki Minaj, Khaled is prepared for any outcome. “If she says no, it’s all love. She’s my friend. She might not be ready for marriage. I want kids, I want a lot of things, but you gotta be ready for this.”
Before DJ Khaled ended the interview, the We The Best founder took the time to propose to Nicki one more time. “Nicki Minaj, I love you. Nicki Minaj, will you marry me? I ain’t changing that.”
