More quality music from the hottest label in the game
SZA‘s been on a few radars for a while, but now, after inking a deal with Top Dawg and Punch’s Top Dawg Entertainment label–the same label that launched the infallible careers of Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q–her new album campaign has begun. The name of her upcoming project is Z, following the blueprint set by her previous work, S, and the first single from it is titled “Teen Spirit”, produced by Wondagurl, recently known for her work on Jay Z‘s “Crown”. SZA’s sound is extremely abstract, and unconventional, which should fit right in with the ambiance surrounding signed and affiliated artists like Ab-Soul, Jhene Aiko and of course ScHoolboy Q. We look forward to Z, and after the success of See.SZA.Run and S, there’s no telling how far this talented young lady can travel. Enjoy.
