Brady gives the Patriots a scare in practice
The one thing you never want to see in the preseason is your franchise quarterback going down with an injury. During 11 on 11 drills with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady went down following an incomplete pass to Aaron Dobson. Brady stayed on the ground following the play, but left practice under his own power.
Brady getting off the field under his own power shows that the injury may not be that serious, but you never know. Coincidence that this happened on Tim Tebow’s birthday? Just kidding. If this is serious the Patriots will be looking for Ryan Mallet to lead them going forward.
Excuse me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the red jersey mean no contact?
