Iverson scores 50 as a rookie
On April 12th 1997 Allen Iverson extended his streak of games with 40 points. In a 125-118 loss by the hands of the Cavaliers, Iverson dropped 50 as a rookie. Two days later Iverson would drop 40 against the Washington Bullets (remember them?) making it five straight games with at least 40 points.
