Fuse features Apollo The Great For ‘Behind The Unsigned’
For season two of Fuse’s docu-series ‘Behind The Unsigned,’ they travelled to Camden, New Jersey to give the world a glimpse into the life of Apollo The Great.
At the beginning of the video, Apollo talks about his upbringing and touches on his mother and cousin’s influence in his life.
He then heads into his inspiration for starting a career in Hip-Hop. One is an early memory of catching a Nas video on BET’s “Rap City.” He fell in love with the Queens’ rappers rhymes.
At one point, he touches on his creative process. “A lot of the times I’ll be going through my daily routine where I’m at and something will happen. Something always happens. Whatever transpires that day, I may think of a line and that line may be the start of a verse,” he says.
