Mastermind, the title of Rick Ross’ forthcoming studio album, is fitting for a bawse. In a matter of years, the “Box Chevy” rapper has gone on to build what’s now deemed the “Untouchable Maybach Empire.” Rozay kicked off 2013 with quite the power move when he merged Maybach Music Group with Atlantic Records. The summer release of Wale’s The Gifted, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, plus the upcoming releases of Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 3, the Self-Made Volume 3 collective, and Ross’ own Mastermind has the label heading into a strong fourth quarter. Earlier this year, Kendall “Young Sav” Freeman was appointed the vice president of MMG. Outside of his label dealings, Rozay continues to expand his Wingstop franchise and made his acting debut on STARZ’s Magic City.
