Producer and entrepreneur Swizz Beatz has been keeping himself busy. This past February it was announced that he had joined the creative and marketing team at Monster, a company known for its partnership with Dr. Dre on his influen- tial Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. Not one to play the bench, Swizz was also named the celebrity adviser to Hublot, the pricey watch company, on their collaboration with Monster. While he was making some serious business moves, Swizz also stayed true to his original passion: music. He produced for the biggest names in Hip-Hop. Most notably, he collaborated with Jay Z on Magna Carta…Holy Grail, and was featured in the advertisements that accompanied the album’s release. Swizz Beatz has had a major year, and seems to be set on continuing to having major successes. —James Elliott
