The Source Magazine caught up with super producer Sean Garrett at the 2013 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards.  Garrett has been working on a range of projects including Miley Cyrus’ highly anticipated ‘Bangerz’ and Usher’s latest album. “You know, I’m working with my brother Usher. We already got like four joints. NUTS” Garrett told The Source. “We just did three crazy records for Miley Cyrus, one of them featuring the great Britney Spears,” Garett added.

What was it like working with Miley Cyrus?

Sean Garrett: A lot of fun. Miley is super cool, she’s a real cool chick, she just makes me smile, she’s just so many different things. She’d be bouncing off the walls, her energy is crazy and her music, most of all her music is hard.

A Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus collaboration sounds pretty epic.

Sean Garrett: I mean that’s the only way we know how to do it…I love both of them…that right there is iconic, you see now I’m living life.

Did you call Britney up to join the Miley Cyrus track?

Sean Garrett: That was really a collective conversation between me, Mike WiLL, shout out to my brother Mike WiLL from the ATL. Miley, me, Mike, we were just like “Yo, let’s get Britney on this thing.”

Sean Garrett also wants everyone to check out his new track “Anytime,” featuring Migos.
