“1 million, 2 million…Oh, I’m so good at math”
Upon its initial release, Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail was honored with a platinum plaque after being certified for moving 1 million units before it even hit stores. On top of going platinum before the release, MCHG pushed 528,000 units in its first week. Recently, “Holy Grail” the Justin Timberlake assisted single, also recieved platinum honors.

Now Jay can add another plaque as MCHG has gone double platinum.
RIAA: Congratulations to Jay Z! Not satisfied with Platinum alone, “Magna Carta…Holy Grail” is now DOUBLE-Platinum for selling more than two million copies in the United States.
