Today’s Mathematics is Power

Today’s Mathematics is Power. Power is the Truth which is the light that shines in the darkness of ignorance. Power is also the ability to cause change, whether that change is positive or negative is dependent upon the recipient of that reality. The Truth is the controlling force within the universe because everything is real, possessing length, width, and depth in some form or another. Power is manifested or shown through the Wisdom, which is the intelligent words and ways of a wise individual.

For the rest of this week, the realities that our children are facing in today’s society will be the focus of our attention. Not only the common hardships faced by the overwhelming majority, but the exceptions to the norm and those not shaped by societal perception. For instance, Tiana Parker is just an average 7 year old second grader in Tulsa, Oklahoma that happens to have dreadlocks. Is it necessary to traumatize children for daring to be different? The fact that she had to leave the Deborah Brown Community School for her “distracting dreadlocks” will forever be embedded in her mind as a statement that her natural look is not accepted and could even be labeled criminal, since she was forced to enroll in another school. On the flip side of that, there are young people, such as 15 year old Jaylen Bledsoe of Gazelwood, Missouri, who built a multimillion dollar IT business with only himself and his motivation. The young mogul started Bledsoe Technologies, a web design firm, when he was only 13 years old, but even then as the president of the Student Council, he managed to get his junior Hugh’s lunch menu to include vegetarian options. Jaylen is in inspiration to the youth and adults alike to get up, get out, and show and prove the Power they possess.

Power is a source of energy and the foundation of all the energy in our Universe is the Sun. As with the Truth, the light from the Sun shines so bright at times that it forces some to turn their heads because its too much for them to stand, however, when you are able to withstand the heat and light, the benefits are endless. Peace!
