Ronaldo’s new wages surpasses Messi
After much angst and speculation about his future Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new deal with Real Madrid. CR7’s new deal will keep him at Real Madrid for the next 5-years.

The delay in the Ronaldo deal had Real Madrid fans worried as rumors spread that he may move back to Manchester United. France’s Paris Saint-Germain was also thought to be in the mix for Ronaldo.
On another note the new deal also makes Ronaldo the highest paid player in Spain. Ronaldo will make €17 million a year for the next five years compared to Lionel Messi’s €13 million a year.
