Hip-Hop’s power couple Beyonce and Jay Z moved on from being ’03 Bonnie and Clyde to music icons and now are listed as number one on Forbes’ list of Highest-Earning Celebrity Couples.
Together Mr. and Mrs. Carter earned 15 million more than runner-up couple Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.
Along with recent album sales (which reached Platinum for both Beyonce’s 4 and Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail), the couple averaged 1.7 million a night while on their respective tours.
In addition to the earnings the couple gets for their music, both bring in more money from their non-musical franchises. HOV has partial ownership of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, plus he’s gaining major bread through his sport’s agency Roc Nation Sports.
Queen B expands Carter money flow with her clothing line House of Dereon and fragrance line Heat.
Even baby Blue is contributing to the family worth. Jay and Bey trademarked their daughter’s name which will eventually bring in even more money.
Overall, the duo made roughly 95 million dollars from June 2012 to June 2013 placing them number one in a landslide on Forbes highly-acclaimed list.
