GoodMusicAllDay.com linked up with Rockstar Games and DJ Cashis VII to create a GTAV inspired mixtape entitled “Grand Theft Audio V”
Grand Theft Auto V is set to break video game records – both in terms of revenue generated and number of copies sold. In its first 24 hours on sale, fans bought close to $800 million worth of copies. This more than recoups the reported $270 million spent creating and marketing the game and estimates suggests that it will generated more than $1.6 billion in global sales by the end of its first week. The previous title in the series, GTA IV, has sold more than 25 million copies since its 2008 release – a figure GTA 5 is expected to exceed.
To coincide with the video games release date, a mixtape, appropriately titled Grand Theft Audio V, was dropped via goodmusicallday.com. Grand Theft Audio V, hosted by DJ Cash VII, features exclusive songs which include contributions from Tyga, Jadakiss, Cormega, Prodigy, Kool G. Rap, and Roscoe Dash, among others.
