Concert tickets just aren’t selling like they used to. In the viral world we live in it is not uncommon for the majority of people to stream and youtube clips from concerts rather than invest money in going to a show themselves. Nowadays, that’s just the way it goes.
When you are a superstar like Drake you wouldn’t expect to undergo this experience, however, rumors indicate that Drake’s “Would You Like a Tour” has been pushed back to October 18th due to poor ticket sales.
This might be partly due to Drake initially pushing back the album but Drake assures that the delay of the tour is strategic in that it gives fans a chance to listen to the album’s music before they attend a show.
With both Jay Z and Kanye West on tour this fall as well, the OVO artist has some tough competition to get the attendance at his shows.
