Its been a while since SZA burst onto the scene with her re-make of Empire Of The Sun‘s “Country”, and her buzz, which brewed among neo-soul and hip-hop heads alike, landed her a record deal with hip-hop-label-of-the-moment Top Dawg Entertainment. Before her compatriots ScHoolboy Q & Kendrick Lamar hit the stage at Vitamin Water’s Uncapped show last weekend in New York City, TDE’s newest artist took the stage and swooned the crowd with an impressive performance of one of her newer sounds, “Teen Spirit”.
