The grindhouse sensibility seen in “Cyclops” is taken to the next level in his video for “Monopoly”. One of the standout tracks off of his critically acclaimed project XXX, Danny had to translate the energy and insanity that made the song popular to the little screen. Employing what appears to be green tinted Technicolor filter and dark backgrounds help to make him come off as sinister or menacing, this vibe aligns well with his lyrics. The “Danny Brown” Monopoly board was a nice touch as well.
