These are the last words on the project. The closing track is the tape’s most confessional. At one point he stops rapping to talk directly about surviving a fall off a bridge, performing in a cast, and issuing album “thank yous.” On the dissolution of Kids These Days, he says “nine months ago I was in such a different place, I was in a fucking band and everything I had fell through the cracks right before my eyes. A lot of people probably didn’t think I’d still be on my feet after that, but the only thing you can count on in this life is change.” If INNANETAPE is any indication, Vic Mensa is going to change a lot of minds over the next nine months.
