‘212’ Rapper Azealia Banks was performing this weekend at the ‘Listen Out Festival’ in Melbourne when a fan in the crowd tossed a can at her.
Banks was on stage performing her current single “ATM,” which features Pharell, when a can came flying in her direction. The Harlem mermaid dodged the bottle, threw the mic down and stormed off the stage. Just a weekend before, a beer bottle was thrown at her during her appearance in Sidney.
K. Brisbane went smoothly. No one threw any cans at my head. I’m gonna read my Cat encyclopedia, have a wine and go to sleep.

An official statement was released from Azealia’s camp regarding the latest incident:
“Azealia Banks was forced to cut her set short last night at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne on 5th October 2013. This was as a result of a member of the audience throwing a full can on beer at her on stage. The incident made Azealia and her stage crew feel unsafe. Banks would like to apologize to those fans in the audience whose experience was affected by the behavior of one individual.”
