R&B veteran R. Kelly has been putting in work since recovering from his throat surgery this past summer. With his appearance on the Rich Gang album and his own upcoming album dropping soon, the Pied Piper seems like he can strike gold once again. Though his previous albums didn’t make as much noise, Kelz has some dope tracks on deck for Black Panties.
Kelly reveals his inner cookie monster in his next single off the album. “Cookie” doesn’t sound like it’ll be a club banger but it’s definitely a tune that your girl would like. With names like 2 Chainz, Future and Chris Brown expected to make appearances, the album has potential to bring R. Kelly back into the new generation of R&B.
