TDE has been buzzing like crazy recently. After Kendrick took only a minute and half to put the rest of hip-hop 0n check during their highly acclaimed cypher, it seems like you can’t escape hearing about the LA clique. Clearly, they have been gifted with the Midas touch.
This afternoon, the camp released a remix to Isaiah Rashad’s debut single “Shot You Down.” The most recent signee has been garnering rave reviews for his intricate lyricism and interesting flow style. He is joined on the track by two of his O.G.s: ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock. If you haven’t realized that Jay Rock is one of the best gangsta rappers out right now, you are a lost cause. Once again, he jumps on a feature and just bodies his verse. Q confronts those who have been disappointed about the mishandling of his upcoming album, Oxymoron. He lets it be known that the album will come out when it comes out, which might make some fans feel some type of way about that.
