Three Six Mafia aka Da Mafia 6ix’s DJ Paul & rapper Yelawolf have been in the lab working on their latest joint project that combines Rap and Rock. The idea isn’t new to the game but it sounds like Yela & Paul are on to something. The first single, “Light Switch,” has hit the Net and is making an impression.
DJ Paul allows the guitar riffs to blend in perfectly with his signature trap beat. By the sound of this single, it doesn’t look like the project will go down the same path as Lil Wayne’s Rebirth or even Jay Z’s collaborative album with Linkin Park. There’s no set release date just yet. Do you think the album will pop off?
