RapGrid.com has become a one-stop-shop for the battle world and beginning with their recent documentary about Hollow Da Don, they’ve grown into a veritable battle rap network. The Behind the Battles series is like a battle rap take on VH1’s Behind the Music featuring some of the best moments from the featured rapper’s battles as well as interviews with numerous players in the subject’s story. Two installments of the series have been released, starting off with Hollow Da Don and then Cortez. Today, the newest installment of Behind The Battles has been dropped featuring Jaz The Rapper.

When it comes to naming the top female battle rapper in the game, many names have been thrown around, from Jaz to BRM alumna Persia, to Young Gattas to Ms. Hustle. The battle between Jaz the Rapper and Ms. Hustle has been hotly debated on the message boards and Facebook groups since its release on Friday, but much excitement has surrounded Jaz since last week’s announcement of her battle with Young Gattas. This documentary should only serve to fuel the fire and heighten anticipation for the battle. The Documentary features cometary from URL’s Norbes and Nuborn, and is available on $2.99 on RapGrid.
