hqdefaultWhen TLC released their smash hit, “No Scrubs,” it was to controversy. The trio sang of subpar men and not wanting to entertain any of their antics. While fans sung right along with the Atlanta group, they were also some who muted the singers, including the male rap group, Sporty Thievz.

The New York natives didn’t take well to the Kandi Burruss penned track and made an entertaining response record titled, No Pigeons.” As did TLC, Sporty Thievz spoke of subpar women.

With the release of the biopic film, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, and reliving those times and scenes in music history left a nostalgic feeling.
