Peace! Today’s Mathematics is Wisdom Born all being Born to Knowledge Knowledge, which Born Wisdom. Today’s reality teaches that in order to make the Knowledge known, the Wisdom has to Be Born Equally in the form of words as well as ways and actions. The Wise will back up their words with actions while the fool speaks empty rhetoric that will not manifest any practical or tangible results. Wisdom is the intelligent application of Knowledge, so when Wisdom is Born it produces an Understanding in the mind of the recipient and that which is Known by the giver is also Known by receiver.
From common cliches such as ‘live for the moment’ and ‘live like its your last day on Earth’ to the new millennial “Y.O.L.O.”, past generations have been conditioned to think and live for the now. This mentality leaves one ill-prepared for the future, if their ways and actions even allows for a future. For instance, it’s now being discussed in the country’s capital to loosen the rein on marijuana laws, with 10 out of 13 on the D.C. Council and Mayor Vincent Gray suggesting the decriminalization of weed in the nation’s capital. This would mean that no one could be charged criminally for possessing an ounce or less of marijuana. There are two sides to this coin. Yes, this would not allow police to disproportionately arrest Black marijuana users in comparison to White marijuana users. It would also give young adults the green light to blow it down without considering the fact that they can still be denied employment because of their marijuana usage, therefore, impeding their future. This is never considered until you have three hours to drink golden seal and two gallons of water before a urine analysis. It’s been reported that the “Louis Vuitton Don” is no more. Well, not exactly. Kanye West announced on Power 106’s Big Boy Neighborhood that he no longer wants to be associated with the brand because “the prices are too extreme”. This was a Wise move by Yeezus, who has a cult like following of youth and adults alike because of his eccentric music and fashion sense. If anyone can bring back the trend of inexpensive fashion to the hood, it’s definitely him. Now, let’s see if his big brother Jay Hova follows his lead.
Wisdom Born simply means that talk is cheap. Show that what you know can actually bring forth results rather than just more lip service. That is the formula to success. Words without equal deeds are useless. Actions without the ability to convey it to other minds through communication is useless. Collective goals will be reached and Wisdom is Born when the words and deeds are Equal. Peace!
