Nicki Minaj is proclaiming she is royalty of New York when it comes to this rap game, despite not being mentioned by Kendrick Lamar in his “Control” verse.
“I’m probably in the top 5 n****** he did mention, so go and do your motherfu–ing research,” she said when asked about her name omission on Control during Power 105.1’s Powerhouse in Brooklyn. “But I also feel like maybe he’s one of those respectful gentlemen that probably wanted to feel like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to say a female’s name.’ Or maybe he just don’t think the kid is ill, but the kid know the kid is ill.”
There is no doubt that Nicki Minaj is ill. With platinum albums, fragrance and makeup deals, partnerships with Myx Moscato and Beats by Dre, a clothing line with Kmart, the Queens native proves she is much more than a pretty face with a bodacious body.
However, her three million plus followers on Instagram aren’t complaining about the bodacious body that Minaj flaunts.
Minaj recently posted a sexy cop costume, clad in fishnets and pasties for Halloween that garnered comments such as “I definitely want to get cuffd by u…. Shd I’m guilty no plea lol” and “Sexy.”
“I’ve just been feeling a lot freer,” said Nicki when asked by The Breakfast Club of her new-found body-loving persona on the social media network. “If you feeling yourself, you might just want to show the world.”
But don’t think for one second that Minaj is only a sex kitten. She is working on her third album, scheduled for release sometime in 2014 and is “different” from anything she’s done.
