GET OUT OF THE CAR
You might think that being in a car will help keep you safe when being fired upon by online players, this is wrong it’s actually a liability for the same reason why you should always try to get out to fight back, auto-lock. While in a car you can only free-aim which is far less accurate and unless you have an SMG you’re not likely to hit anything at all since the pistol’s fire rate is drastically reduced. Players on foot however can still auto-lock onto targets inside cars which gives them a huge advantage if they know what they’re doing. If you are in a car chase try to get enough distance to pull over and leave the car, if possible position your car in a way that give you cover and lets you get out on the safe side, otherwise you’re likely to get rammed between both vehicles. Don’t get into cover with the RB button cause you can still be knocked or run over by your car getting hit. Instead stay behind it to shield you from bullets and quickly use the auto-lock head shot technique. Methods of getting away from players in cars when on foot is to find higher ground, or stationary objects like highway dividers to keep you safe from being run over but able to pop shots into their windshield. Keep in mind that this goes both ways, you’re in a car and being attacked by someone on foot it’s probably best to drive off since they’ve got the drop on you and getting out of the car won’t be quick enough to put you on even terms. Your best bet is to get some distance and find cover if they really want you dead they’ll come after you and you can take them out from cover.
