Eminem sat down with Sway on Shade 45 yesterday for a special Q&A along with fans and several members of the press. The recently named Youtube Artist of The Year goes in depth with Sway for more than an hour on music, life experiences, and of course, Em’s new project, MMLP2.

In a highlight moment of the interview (5:12) , Sway brings up Marshall’s lyrical approach on his record “Rap God” and says that it’s something he hasn’t heard yet from Em. He goes on to mention that the flow on “Rap God” reminds him a lot of Pharoahe Monch‘s verse on “Bring It On,” a track from Organized Konfusion‘s second LP Stress: The Extinction Agenda. Slim Shady would get into his inner-Pharoahe Monch and start spittin’ the verse off the classic cut. He would follow up by saying, “That rhyme right now would kill most rappers 99.99%.” Giving credit like a true student of the game Em would end with “Pharoahe is incredible, and has always been ahead of his time since he came out.”
