It’s been talked about for years but the film based on the life of Tupac Shakur has finally gotten the green light and the official production will begin in 2014.
Producer Randall Emmet confirmed the date last week at a reception by the film’s production company.
The long battle between the film company, Morgan Creek and Afeni Shakur over creative control is finally ended by simply putting everything behind them in order tell the life story of the West coast rapper. Tupac’s mother will serve as the Executive Producer of the film.

With no official cast set in stone, the hunt will soon begin for the perfect actor to portray the Death Row rapper.
