Free-spirited neo-soul singer/songwriter Solange released her very first compilation Saint Heron last week under her new recording label, Saint Records. Among the many artists featured on the compilation, such as Jhené Aiko, Iman Omari, Cassie, and Sampha, Solange too makes an appearance on the compilation with a track of her own.
“We don’t need to lay in bed/Sleep all day/We’ll sleep when dead,” she sings on “Cash In.”
Co-produced with Tim Anderson and penned solely on her own, the soothing mid-tempo cut is surely a feel good that’s bound to have you swaying to and fro, head bobbing in unison with the beat.
