Sevyn Streeter graced her presence in Detroit this past weekend at an exclusive listening party to a room of bloggers, writers, radio programmers and local social influencers. Guests took part in enjoying a buffet of soul food including collard greens, fried chicken, sweet potatoes and sweet treats including pound and red velvet cake as well as complimentary cocktails sponsored by Hennessy.

After attending another listening session from Sevyn back in March, we heard a sampling of songs being considered for the upcoming album release including “FAF”, “Fight for Me.” However, the tracks making the cut for the EP tells a story Sevyn that she says “shows the cycle of a relationship, from the ups, downs, ins and outs.”
