Just in time for the holiday season K. Michelle releases a new song, appropriately titled “Christmas Night.” Though the tune of the song is a bit upbeat, the actual lyrics are fairly the opposite as they tell the story of one who’s lost their love on Christmas day, but is determined to enter the new year with a new state of mind.
“I lost my love/On Christmas night/A gift that hurts/At the same time…” a heartbroken K. Michelle sings.
