When Kanye made Nicki the only female feature on his hit posse cut “Monster”, he had to know that the Harajuku Barbie was gonna steal the show. Her verse, which varied from bar to bar in cadence and flow as well as zany character voices, stole the show on audio and when she appeared in the video in knee high boots and fishnet stockings, she stole the show visually as well. Kanye could forsee Nicki becoming the dominant female rap powerhouse she is today and he made sure to let her bars and beauty do all the talking on “Monster”.
