Word on the tweets
Earlier this week, Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber had a pretty highly publicized short tweet conversation that basically made it apparent that the two were earnestly attempting to get in the studio together. It didn’t seem like a far-fetched proposal, considering Justin Bieber has released a new song every Monday for the better part of the past three months, and Chance is no stranger to pop/r&b collaborations (see: James Blake, Jeremih).
Today, Justin Bieber has confirmed that his “new single”, which will be released on Sunday at midnight in typical Music Monday fashion, features Chance The Rapper and is titled “Are You Ready”. About half an hour ago, Biebs released the official artwork to his Twitter account. Considering the quality of work both o these artists have put out all year, just prepare for very major sound waves.
