Could Drake be the Marc Jacobs of hip hop fashion? From his custom made Calvin Klein couture on his “Nothing Was The Same Tour” to the OVO Jordan samples we’ve seen online recently, Drake has been taking baby steps into the world of fashion, but now the Toronto rapper will debut a new line entitled “Welcome To The Family” that will be available just in time for Christmahanakwanza. The capsule collection will be available at pop-up stores in New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans and Miami for one day, that is on December 14th.
Drake’s “Welcome to the Family” is under the umbrella of his record label, Cash Money Records. There isn’t any further news on what the direction of the brand will be, but knowing Drake’s style it’s sure to be a swagged-out. Welcome world to Drake’s familia of fashion.
