“The response has been crazy. Its been the largest response they’ve had with merchandise. Previously, we’ve sold 1000 units in 90 minutes from Eminem just tweeting about it. Every release so far has sold out within 24-48 hours with 500-1,000 units going,”  states Walker.

In and outside of Detroit, the “Detroit vs Everybody” brand has become an “insiders club” of promoting positivity, resilience and perseverance with people of all demographics supporting the brand across generations. The inspiration behind the “Shady vs Everybody” collaboration Walker says was just “good timing and the right idea”.

Eminem was setting up to come back with the Marshall Mathers LP 2 and the collaboration was presented to us and we felt like out of all the collaborations that were offered, that this one made the most sense. With Eminem coming from the heart of the city, and with our brand we felt that that marriage would be perfect.” says Walker.
