The dynamic duo continues their rampage
Fresh Veggies, the collaborative mixtape Inglewood native Casey Veggies and Chicago rep Rockie Fresh are putting together in conjunction with street/athletic apparel brand Puma, will be released on December 16th. The duo has released a couple fresh leaks from the appropriately titled project, but now we get the first official music video from FV, “Celebrate Life”, which is accurately represented in the clip. Veggies and Fresh, two of hip-hop’s youngest stars, pop champagne, smoke, perform, and have a wonderful great time following the instructions of their new single.
Fresh Veggies will help culminate what has been an excellent year for the two rappers. Casey Veggies kicked the year off right, releasing his Life Changes album, inking a deal with Sylvia Rhones Vested In Culture label (an imprint of Epic Records), and collaborating with Drake and Hit-Boy as he prepares to release his proper debut album. Rockie Fresh emerged as one of MMG’s anchors, releasing two mixtapes (Electric Highway and The Birthday Tape) during the first half of the year, and letting loose with a slew of quality verses on his rap group’s compilation album, Self Made 3, just before touring nationwide with his producing partner-in-crime Lunice.
