Last Friday Beyonce released her latest album, self titled and without promotion, it was a delight to fans world wide. It was a completely digital, audio-visual experience; as every track came with an accompanying video and she had a partnership with Itunes. Over an hour worth of video is a hard sell for some artists, but Queen Bey isn’t like other musicians, in fact she makes them bow down. Not only has it sold, but it is breaking records at a dizzying rate.

This afternoon, the good people over at Apple announced that Beyonce had sold over 820,000 in less than a week, almost four days. An incredible feat for any artist, it becomes even more incredible when you account for the lack of promotion and radio single. Beyonce clearly has the juice and Blue Ivy is going to have an extra special Christmas.
