“My vision for the Sean Anderson Foundation is simply to make the lives of young people better. I want to be an inspiration to young people by showing them that hard work and determination pay off, to be an example of what can happen when you follow your dreams, and to be an instrument of encouragement for us all to help ourselves and to support one another. Detroit and the entire country have shown me much love and I passionately want to return that love.” said Big Sean.

The foundation is involved with family care which improves the quality of life for youth fighting life threatening illnesses as well as living in poverty. He said on instagram, “Today, on behalf of The Sean Anderson Foundation, we went to Children’s Hospitals downtown Detroit [and] visited some beautiful, cool kids and families,” Sean said. “They’re true [Gs]. “These kids are some of the nicest people I’ve met.” Mitzvahs [Hebrew for good deeds] are miracles and Big Sean brought some miracles to the patients and families spending there holiday in the hospital.
