“We didn’t start doing this a year ago, we been wanting to do this our whole life”
On the same day as their Hot 97 Who’s Next SOB‘s Showcase, Audio Push stepped “In The Box” with DJ Enuff to perform their certified jam “Shine” as well as spit some very well put together off the dome freestyles. In addition to giving one of the best and most spirited performances you’ll ever see in a 20 sq foot room, the boys from The Inland Empire California made sure to showcase what is quickly becoming their secret weapon, the incredibly genuine enthusiasm and humility these guys show at every opportunity.
It’s not an act either, they stopped by The Source offices earlier this month and were every bit the charismatic, unpretentious personalities they put out to the public. At the very end of the clip they took the time to not only thank the legendary Heavy Hitter DJ Enuff for his general stature in the game but specifically for the time he spent DJ’ing 106 & Park‘s Freestyle Friday. They wen’t on to explain that what made the full circle moment so special is that this was a big part of what inspired Price & Oktane to become the excellent freestylers that they now are.
