If you weren’t watching the 34-31 Florida State Rose Bowl victory over Auburn, you may have caught the WWE’s Old School tributes to it’s greatest on RAW.

The WWE had a blast from the past with USA Network’s programming featuring appearances from WWE’ legends Ric Flair, Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Irwyn R. Schyster, The Godfather,  Bob Backlund and The New Age Outlaws.

Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grand Master Sexay also made cameos in the ring and took wrestling fans back to the early 2000’s with a post-match break dance party after their win. Mean Jean Okerlund even made a surprise cameo on the program  jokingly convincing kids to call his $5 a minute wrestling hotline.  Jake The Snake Roberts also appeared at the end of RAW with his pet snake Damien.

Old School Raw extends the baton to an announcement that the WWE will make today at 9:30 PM ET in Las Vegas. According to a press release from WWE, a groundbreaking WWE announcement will air LIVE on WWE.com. The press conference will include WWE Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon, John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin announce the new WWE Network.

The announcement will also be streamed live on the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, Google+, Pinterest and Pheed.
