Personally, the first time I heard the “Danny Glover” instrumental, I immediately ran to the internet and refreshed “Lil’ Wayne Danny Glover” in Google’s search box with the hope that Weezy would waste no time jumping on this beat. It’s just so tailor made and perfect for him–Young Thug is a dread-headed trap rapper with a high pitched voice very similar to the YMCMB executive–its a wonder it still hasn’t happened. Once I gave up on those dreams, I thought Waka would be an equally great fit for the psychedelic instrumental, and on this Friday, dreams do come true.
