In 2014 it’d be hard to argue that TDE is the top crew in Hip Hop, and one of the most influential and powerful collectives in all of popular music. Their success was not an overnight one, with roots going back as far as 1997 the independent label today houses a heavy roster. Currently the indie (what does that even mean anymore) conglomerate consists of rappers Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, & the newest signees Isaiah Rashad and female singer SZA. They also house a pretty impressive stable of in house producers including Digi+Phonics (Tae Beast, Sounwave, Dave Free and Willie B) as well as THC and King Blue.
