Terrio Last summer, the world was introduced to its next great dance star, television personality, basketball player, and burger destroyer, Little Terrio. His Vine and Instagram pages, presumably the creation of his older cousins or siblings, were filled with short clips of this young star-in-the-making breaking it down, dropping buckets, and just plain killing them. The fifteen second videos were addicting, and his cousin’s phrase (“oooohh kill em”) became instantly famous; finding its way into every day lexicon and even becoming the namesake for Meek Mill’s response to “Control”. Small, round, energetic Terrio was destined for stardom.

As time passed, he and those close to him have fully grasped onto the potential of internet popularity; refusing to let their fifteen minutes of fame pass away. Although barely old enough to understand the birds & the bees, Terrio has become a pretty successful entrepreneur in his own right. His social media profiles are bursting with followers, likes, and comments. Each video his camp uploads receives an overabundance of attention and attract even more fans. Their catchphrase now graces the front of T-Shirts and paraphernalia of various types. He is caking for real, screaming “ooooooooooh,” all the way to the bank.

Terrio is hanging out with celebrities  of all kinds, running behind the DJ booth during Miami Heat games (which are becoming more and more like circus attractions by the day), and traveling across America. There are more than enough reasons to sit back and think man, he is living the good life right now, but you might be wrong. There is something a little disconcerting about his increased popularity, and how it is being handled. While we don’t doubt that he has decent management and that his family loves him a lot, but there are some alarming aspects of his rise that need to be examined. Terrio definitely needs some help.
