Designer chic meets The NFL
With the ACF and NFC games today and only a few more weeks until the biggest game in football takes place, NFL and Super Bowl inspired projects are starting to pop up all over the place. Bloomingdales and the Council of Fashion Designers of America have teamed up for this collaborative project just in time for the Super Bowl. They partnered with several designers to create these one of a kind helmets.
Designers John Varvatos, the brothers Ovadia, Billy Reid, Donna Karan, Dao Yi Chao and Maxwell Osborne all took charge of their own creations and gave them signature themes. While these helmets aren’t a sight for sore eyes, they are however for a great cause. The helmets will be auctioned off and all earnings will be donated to the NFL Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving player safety on and off the field.
