It seems just like yesterday when Vince Young strutted in the end zone and led his Texas Longhorns to a stunning victory over USC. After making about $34 million dollars during his professional career, nowadays the unemployed NFL quarterback Vince Young has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Young was listed with estimated assets between $500k and $1M and liabilities between $1M and $10M. He has also been in a legal battle stemming from a $1.8M loan taken out in his name.
Maybe it’s just me, but I just don’t see how these sport stars can go broke at any point in their lives.
