Wait…What?
Rick Ross has revealed the official artwork for his upcoming 6th album, Mastermind, and some more surprising, great information. He and Jeezy have apparently reconciled their differences, and Jeezy will be appearing on Ross’ next single from Mastermind. The album will be out March 4th, and the next single from it will be titled “War Ready”, featuring the artist formerly known as Young Jeezy. The two have been “beefing” for years, including a reported shoving match backstage at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards that led to gunshots in the venue’s parking lot. To see them standing next to each other in the teaser pictures for “War Ready”/Mastermind is a big deal, and while we have no indication whether or not this was a forced together business decision, or a genuine gesture, its the most positive possible outcome, and for that, we celebrate hip-hop.
