MTV kicked off the Pre Grammy weekend, with its annual Artist to Watch Tour. Each year MTV highlights emerging talent that are gaining notoriety and making some noise. This year welcomed new comers such as 21 year old singer and song writer Tori Kelley, along with 21 year old Rapper Jake Miller, and the all girl pop group formed on The X Factor 2012 season, Fifth Harmony.

Starting off the show was alternative rock band Echosmith performing their hit “Cool Kids”. Shortly after English rock band Rixton made its way and stage and performed “Make Out” getting the crowd amped and ready to go for the rest of the night. As the show went on, Tori Kelly was next up to grace the stage with her soul able sounds and amazing voice were heart felt as she performed “All In My Head” as the crowd sang along. Tori also brought special guest Ariana Grande to the stage where they performed a duet of Ariana’s song “Right There”. An amazing uproar emerged as Ariana stepped onto the stage.

New comer Rapper Jake Miller was next up as he got the crowd live with smash hit “Collide”, sending the crowd into a fritz. Jake also performed a new song entitled “Hollywood” which declared his presence in the city and the inspiration it embodies.

Headlining the show was non-other than the multi talented girl group Fifth Harmony. Adoring fans who watched their progression on The X Factor knew all the words to their “Miss Moving” single and sang along verbatim. The group also performed “Me And My Girls” and a quartet version of Ariana Grande’s song “Honeymoon Avenue” which brought the house down.

The amazing talent showcased at MTV’s “Artist To Watch 2014” are in fact nothing to sleep on. The impact of these artist will soon be felt worldwide.
