Salt and Pepa

They became the first female rap group to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group back in 1995 for the single, “None Of Your Business” from their most successful album, Very Necessary.  The first time they were nominated for the same category back in 1989 and during that ceremony they didn’t broadcast the category which caused a big stir within the rap community.
