Def Jam Records celebrated 30 years of success last night in Manhattan. The label partnered up with New Era for their Friday Night Lights Party. Before the festivities, a small, exclusive dinner was held to start off the night right. The main event went down at Good Units at the Hudson Hotel with none other than the boss Rick Ross holding down the hosting duties. With music provided by D-Nice & Mick, the guests were in for an unforgettable night.

In honor of Def Jam’s dirty thirty, Ross laid down his new hit “Devil Is A Lie” off his upcoming Mastermind album. He also delivered a strong performance of “F*ckwithmeyouknowigotit” before bringing out Meek Mill & DJ Khaled. Mill threw down his “Intro” off Dreamchasers 3 and Khaled served as the hype man.

Along with the various football stars like Warren Sapp & Hakeem Nicks, HOT 97’s Peter Rosenberg, Ebro, Love & Hip-Hop star Peter Gunz, Bizzy Crook and more were in the building to support the legendary record label. Not only was the club filled with good vibes and the best music, but live artwork had the attendees glued to the walls as images depicting Ricky Rozay were created.

The 30th anniversary celebration was an overall success. After three decades of mastering the game, Def Jam continues to prove that the imprint will never leave.
