If you ever wanted to know what the future sounded like, look no further. Neako and his LVLYSL team have put the finishing touches on their debut collaborative project, Sect. Weighing in at 15 original tracks, the LP is a fine example of their genre of “futureworld” (take that, iTunes). The sound is that of another galaxy but not a very distant one. It’s something to chill and get buck to.
The LVLYSL art collective was created by front man Neako and operated by Neako and Shine Travis. The label runs deep with a roster of Fresh Moss, Bonnie Blunts, NASA, Young Fern, Lex 2050, David Mistaken, and Young Sex Life-also featured on the project. But they also have their own clothing line as well as ties to pretty much every facet of the art world. The DIY attitude never looked and sounded so stylish.
